Keith Benjamin

Keith Benjamin specializes in enterprise software investments, with an emphasis on companies developing technologies that offer improved solutions for long-standing business problems. We believe that software is enabling a more intelligent enterprise. His recent focus has been on companies providing better platforms for better data management, analytics and business process re-engineering, including supply chain applications. Keith has also been looking at new technologies to support computing on demand.
Keith joined LVP from Highland Capital Partners, a Boston-based venture capital firm, where he was a General Partner and opened the firm's San Francisco office. Keith led a number of investments at Highland, including Coremetrics. Prior to Joining Highland in 1999, Keith had been an investment research analyst for 16 years. From 1993 to 1999, Keith was a Senior Research Analyst at Robertson, Stephens & Co., where he
followed a broad range of companies exploiting new technologies, including education and entertainment software, Internet and e-commerce and enterprise software. Keith was ranked as an Institutional Investor All-Star research analyst in 1998 and 1999. During his tenure at Robertson, Keith was a sponsor of venture investments through Robertson's internal investment vehicle, Bayview Capital.
Keith is a Chartered Financial Analyst and earned a BS in Economics and Management and an MBA at New York University.

Daniel L. Eilers

Dan brings 20 years of executive leadership
and venture capital experience to his role at Vanguard. He has been the
President and Chief Executive Officer of three companies, Apple Computer,
Inc.'s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, the founding and managing
partner of Apple's successful venture capital fund, and a private investor/advisor
to early-stage companies.
From 1991 through 1995, Eilers led Claris Corporation as President/CEO/Board
Member. During his tenure, Claris doubled it's revenues to grow from the
industry's 13th largest to the 8th largest vendor of personal computer software
applications. He became the CEO-in-residence at Kleiner Perkins Caufield
& Byers (KPCB) in 1996, assisting in the evaluation of numerous venture
capital investments, and advising portfolio companies on operational and
strategic matters. Eilers became CEO/President/Board Member at NAT Systems,
an enterprise software and services company backed by KPCB, Integral Capital
and Technology Crossover Ventures. NAT Systems was acquired in 1997. In
1997, Eilers joined CIDCO, Incorporated (NASDAQ: CDCO), a telecommunications
products company, as CEO/President/Board Member. During his tenure as CEO,
the company created and shipped 12 new products including the pioneering
iPhone Internet screen phone, increased market share in its core telecommunications
products business to 80%, and increased revenue to over $250 million per
year.
In 1986, Eilers established and led Apple's formal investment activities,
which included venture capital investing, joint ventures, acquisitions and
commercial alliances. Most recently, prior to joining Vanguard, he was an
active angel investor, advisor, or board member to several early stage companies,
including WebEx Communications (NASDAQ:WEBX), SiteSmith (acquired by NASDAQ:MFNX),
Carrier Access Corporation (NASDAQ:CACS) and several other companies.
Eilers holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Washington,
and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Stanford University.

James N. White

Jim White focuses on internet and enterprise hardware, software and services investment opportunities and currently serves on the board of Radiance Technologies and There.
Jim White joined Sutter Hill Ventures in 2000 from Macromedia Inc. As the General Manager of Macromedia's Interactive Learning Division he started the division, grew it to over $20M in annual revenue and sold it to IBM Software Group which became part of the IBM Mindspan Learning Solutions Division. Prior to that Jim was a VP of Marketing for Silicon Graphics. In his eight years at SGI he helped to start and build their $1.5B 3D graphics workstation business. Jim started his career with Hewlett-Packard Company in the PC division and was part of the core team that created the Vectra Product line spending time in engineering, sales and product marketing.
He received a BS in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University in 1984 and an MBA from Harvard University in 1989.

Thomas L. Engdahl

Tom Engdahl is the President and CEO of Radiance Technologies. Tom brings a unique mix of 27 years of entrepreneurship, engineering, marketing, and management experience to Radiance. In addition to Radiance, Tom has founded and lead six other successful start-up companies: Applied Digital Access (ADAX), Pathfire, Inc., Kasenna Inc., Alloptic Inc., Avasta Inc., Alopa Networks Inc.
Tom has held key positions at companies such as M/A-Com, Northern Telecom, DSC Communications, and Pacific Bell. He holds nine patents for telecommunications and video-cable products and has been active in setting standards in the telecom industry since 1984.
