Radiance leverages Comcast Media Center’s interactive television experience to enable and support the delivery of interactive advertising. The CMC, through its Advanced Interactive Services (HITS AxIS), is currently deploying and operating multiple interactive applications for operators of varying sizes, including its parent company Comcast Cable.
HITS AxIS is a centralized suite of services supporting the development, launch and operation of iTV applications, including EBIF/ETV and the emerging tru2way™ platform. HITS AxIS was ranked 17th by CED Magazine in its "Top 50" most important trends, technologies and people of 2008.
AdDelivery leverages key features of the HITS AxIS framework to enable interactive advertising content delivery. More than just transport, AdDelivery can embed, qualify and test interactive functions within the video, ensuring appropriate display and operation in a diverse and targeted advertising space. The power of the Radiance suite seamlessly delivers multiple versions to multiple destinations, each potentially embedded with unique interactive applications, resulting in a distinctive and specific iTV experience.
